We invoke every day St Michael the Archangel to defend us in our battle against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. The Prince of the Heavenly Host defeated with the power of God the Evil Doer and his many evil spirits. We too can win this battle we are in.
Today, in the New Testament we read that Jesus Himself was tempted by Satan (Mk 1:12-15). The Son of God remained in the wilderness of the desert for forty days—the same time period of Lent. Like Him, we experience the temptations of the agents of darkness today.
The World may fall—and maybe is falling—but we need to resist. We invoke St Michael the Archangel, the Virgin Mary, Queen of the Universe, and St Joseph, Terror of Demons, to receive their assistance and win this battle.
After His stay in the desert, Jesus came victorious and proclaimed that “this is the time of fulfillment”. Our earthly and eternal health is at stake. Let’s imitate Jesus Christ.
