Friends of the Rosary,
“The liar is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ.” “Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the Antichrist.” These are words we read today in the first letter of St. John in the New Testament. (1 John 2:22-28).
At the beginning of the year, it is essential to keep in mind this fundamental truth. “Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.”
Friends, new age ideologies—widely promoted—try to deceive us. They mostly present Jesus Christ as a miracle worker or as a cool prophet but deny his Divinity. Additionally, some worldwide religions openly reject that Jesus is the Son of God.
Unfortunately, the spread of humanly destructive ideas might increase this new year. We must be on high alert for not being deceived and cheated by false doctrines.
We invoke the Holy Spirit and His Spouse the Most Holy Virgin Mary to help us to stay faithful to Jesus Christ and to model our lives on imitation to Our Savior.
Happy New Year in Mary!
