Friends of the Rosary:

Today, Thursday of the Sixth Week of Easter, in many dioceses of the U.S. is celebrated the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. The celebration has been properly retained to this day. There is a saying in Spanish that states that the three most important Thursdays of the year are Holy Thursday, Corpus Chisti, and the Ascension. In some other places, the Solemnity is this upcoming Seventh Sunday of Easter.

Jesus Christ concluded his resurrected presence among us and ascended into heaven. He seated at the right hand of the Father, until his second coming, which will open an eternal phase in human history.

Meanwhile, it was Jesus’ Mother who, since the first century, was commissioned to appear on Earth in order to remind us of the need for repentance and conversion, bringing us closer to her divine Son. One of the last supernatural apparitions happened one day like today, 104 years ago, near Lisbon, in Portugal.

The Virgin Mary appeared to Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco, as Our Lady of the Rosary. She also performed on her last apparition in October 1917 a spectacular miracle — the Miracle of the Sun – witnessed by 70,000 people.

The devotion to Our Lady of Fatima has improved dramatically the lives of millions. The daily recitation of the Holy Rosary is like holding the hand of the Blessed Mother.

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
