Friends of the Rosary:
Today is the feast of St. John XXIII, a contemporary pope best known for convening the Second Vatican Council. Also, today is the feast of the Divine Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Across history, heretics have refused to honor Mary as Mother of God. The Holy Virgin is also the mother of the Universal Church, the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ.
Mary is the co-redemptrix and mediatrix of all grace. Without the Fiat of Mary, we wouldn’t be here. It is profoundly ungrateful to deny the role of the Blessed Mother.
The humility of Mary is the foundational virtue to imitate and cultivate. We miss this, and won’t be able to follow properly Jesus Christ.
Jesus, I Trust In You!
