Friends of the Rosary,

Today, we see that our society is deeply divided and we often wonder how is right and who is wrong.

St Peter the Apostle, inspired by the Holy Spirit, gave us a clue in this first letter. He wrote: “Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness,” (…) “and walks in the darkness.”

In other words, showing hate against a person or a group is a sign of darkness.

We love our neighbor, regardless he or she is a sinner, and we hate the sin.

St. Paul and later St. Augustine eloquently encouraged us to love one another with mutual affection and always despise the sin.
