Friends of the Rosary,
On June 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima appeared for the second time.
She gave Sister Lucia, then 10-years old, the Fatima prayer, and also said: “Jesus wishes to use you to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.”
Our Lady presented this way a whole new spirituality, inviting us into her own heart where we will discover the presence and life of her Son, Jesus. Mary wanted our abandonment and deep trust in Jesus.
In her right palm, Our Mother had a heart encircled with thorns which appeared to pierce it. It was the Immaculate Heart of Mary offended by the sins of mankind and craving reparation.
