The US economy lost 20 million jobs in April. It was the worst month for jobs since the Great Depression. Unemployment and uncertainty mean huge suffering.
Our Father, the Creator of everything, sent his own Son to earth, experiencing first-hand extreme torture and death. Now, Jesus encourages us to put our burden on Him, trusting Him.
In addition, as Our Lady of Fatima required, we should offer our suffering for the conversion of sinners and in reparation of the sins committed against Her Immaculate Heart.
Let’s pray today the Sorrowful, the Suffering Mysteries.
